History

Founded in 1944, Caves do Casalinho are one of the oldest wineries in the region of Vinhos Verdes. 

Initially focused only in Vinho Verde from its properties, soon it acquired knowledge and production capacity to produce several types of Portuguese wines, including from the regions of Douro and Alentejo, to export to all corners of the world.

Caves do Casalinho continues to modernize the wine making techniques with new methods and technologies and further developing the quality of its wines with several awards in national and international wine competitions. 

Caves do Casalinho winery

Located in Vizela, Northern region of Portugal it named the society and the brand of some of its wines. All grapes from the firm's properties and other properties are handled here, along with the old cellar with traditional wine pressing and old pipes.

Surrounding the compound is more than 30 hectars of vineyard located in the hill of Vizela Vale, with good solar exposure. The company is now investing in additional production capacity and in wine tourism.
